\nHe works with various, predominantly smaller ensembles such as the two trios BROM – Beierbach \/ Roder \/ Marien<\/em> and Cloud and Stone<\/em>; in the duo TWIRLS<\/em> with pianist Nicolas Schulze, and in the quintet Absolutely Sweet Marie<\/em>. Since 2024 he has also devoted himself more to solo playing. He also works as a sideman in various projects, such as Torsten Papenheim’s Tru Cargo Service<\/em> or the Hannes Zerbe Jazz Orchestra<\/em>.
\nTogether with saxophonist Almut Schlichting he founded the independent label Tiger Moon Records<\/em> in 2014. He is particularly interested in the space between free improvisation and composed music.
